Divine Connection Through Our Hearts

Divine Connection Through Our Hearts

by Meryl Chodosh-Weiss

Do you find it difficult to establish flow, experience joy and creativity in your life and relationships?

When we find ourselves disconnected from the essence of our Divine nature, our hearts become closed and we are unable to experience bliss in every moment of our lives.

Most importantly, when we feel separated from our innate Divine connection, we often experience life as dry, isolated, lonely, meaningless and frustrating.

We focus on our breathing, our mantra, whatever we can to silence the continual stream of distracting thoughts and negative feelings that keep us from experiencing peaceful meditations and harmony in our lives.

What if the basis of enlightenment, accessing all the riches of the universe, peace, harmony and flow stems not from our minds and somewhere outside of us, but somewhere else?

Buddha said “The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart”.

Recent research by the The Institute of HeartMath (IHM) Research Center and technological advances in how the human mind-body system is able to be studied reveals that the heart emits the strongest electromagnetic field in our body. This electromagnetic field is five thousand times stronger than the brain’s electromagnetic field; it envelops the entire body and extends out in all directions up to several feet outside of the body. Research shows that as we consciously focus on feeling a positive emotion it has a beneficial effect not only on our own health and well-being, but it also can have a positive effect on those around us.

Our hearts are the very first organ we develop in the womb. When we call our attention to the “heart of the matter” we are focusing on the essence, in fact, our essence.

The “shift of the ages,” the shift in consciousness that we are now experiencing, is a movement from duality into oneness. It invites us to live from the oneness, connectedness of all creation in our hearts.

There is a personal power in us that is only available when we move from the duality of our brains (the two hemispheres) into the unity of our hearts, our cores.

The scheduled repatterning during the World Repatterning Summit will shine light on whatever we are ready to clear from our mind-body systems so that we can move into living from our hearts and connecting there with the Divine within us all.

Watch Out World, Here I Come!

Reinventing ourselves comes from within. It does helps to have a planetary shift like the one we had on the winter solstice December 21, 2012. I now feel stronger than ever, I have taken more action in the last month than probably the previous three months. I am ‘on fire!’ Watch out world, here I come!

What I found necessary was to reclaim the parts of myself that I had lost, given away or given up on. I suggest you do the same. It will free you to be more authentically who YOU are out in the world. In the Resonance Repatterning® Method, this process is done by doing the ‘Fusion Modality’ where one retrieves a lost quality. If this speaks to you, many certified practitioners can assist you. Go to http://www.repatterning.org. You will find a list of practitioners there. Find someone you resonate with to help you.

I recently did a play shop called “Owning My Purpose” through a new company called Raised Vibration, http://www.raisedvibration.com. One of the exercises we did was to inquire about what we did, or how we survived our family dynamics growing up. One of the things I discovered that I did to survive, was to find out what the rules are, in order to be acceptable and to get my needs met, and follow them. I then saw that even to this day, I find out what the rules are and live within the parameters of them, even if I do not agree with them, or have to settle. Growing up, I became the ‘good girl,’ nice and pleasing. I found out what others needed and did whatever it took to make them happy–harmony at all cost!

Robert Fulghum coined the phrase in his book, “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.” Maybe it should state, “Everything I learned about how to deal with life is formulated by the time I get to kindergarten.”

In the play shop, we then distinguished what qualities we left behind to survive, like our uniqueness, our creativity, our curiosity, adventure, etc. I discovered that I left behind, my inner desires, my true authentic playful nature, my full self-expression, my dignity and most importantly my values.

We then talked about what we are passionate about, like making a difference, nature, animals, helping adopted people find their biological parents, etc. I have many passions! The four I spoke about were my passion to free people from their past and move forward to fulfill their dream; to take risks, be adventurous and playful; to be in an environment where there are wide-open spaces; and to be free to be myself.

From there, in the quietness of our inner sanctuary we created and later declared and claimed our purpose. We stood up in front of the whole group–and on camera to boot–owning our purpose. My purpose is to inspire and empower others’ greatness to live extraordinary lives! What I realized is that I am already doing that. Energy surged throughout my whole being and a rush of emotion filled my eyes. It was total validation of what I have been all about for many years.

We were then asked to pick a project to fulfill within six months that would allow us to tangibly experience our purpose and move us into unhesitating action. I could not imagine taking on yet another project, so I chose one I have wanted to complete:  publishing my first book, “What Would Love Do Right Now?” It got very daunting last year, so I gave myself a sabbatical from the book. Now I am ready. I have a structure in place to fulfill my goal with support from those who love and care about me. My commitment is to have it on the shelf by August 24, 2013.

As you are moving forward reinventing yourself, be sure you are gentle with yourself and get the support you need from those who love and care about you. It will be easier than you think! If I can do it, YOU can do it too! Have fun!

President

This topic couldn’t be more timely for me at this time in my life. While this is the last President letter I will write for the Journal, this stepping down opens the door for me in many ways. Not just professionally as leading this Association but in my personal life.

I have been on the RPA Board for 8 years, 3 of them serving as President. It’s time for a new era of consciousness for the Association. I have written often in these articles that there must be change at the leadership level in order for us to grow and bring in the gifts of co-creation with each other. We are peers supporting peers. I have served enthusiastically on the Board and wish to pass my enthusiasm on to the next set of leaders in this association. As I leave I look forward to continuing to serve on the CEU committee. And more importantly, I look forward to supporting our new Board and wait with anticipation of how they will lead us into the future.

We are making a huge mark on the planet by putting on the RPA Summit this year. We expect that this will be the first of many annual summits and events that continue to put Resonance Repatterning® on the map and become a household name. In many ways, the RPA is reinventing itself by this huge undertaking. We are breaking free of being small, quiet, and unrecognized. WE ARE READY for this undertaking! We ARE reinventing ourselves!

Commitment to leadership has many levels at the Association. Is it time for you to reinvent yourself and serve on any committee? At the February Board meeting, the Board approved to waive some in person CEU requirements. While CEU’s enhance skills that support our Resonance Repatterning practice, some attendance or commitment to obtain CEU’s is still required. Over a 2 year period, 32 CEU’s are required to maintain certification if you are a Certified Practitioner. The Board approved that for every 3 hours of volunteer service, 2 hours can be earned towards the CEU requirement (about 21 CEU’s over a 2 year period).

We hope that this new and exciting incentive will encourage anyone who may have the capacity to step up into a leadership role.

Is it time to reinvent yourself? Is it time to give to your Association as we move into the global arena? Move with us. Lead with us.

With love, gratitude, and appreciation to the RPA Board and all those who have volunteered countless hours over the years to bring the Association to where it is today.

The Great Modality Exchange

What’s a modality and why do I want more?

A MODALITY is any healing action or energy based activity that creates greater coherence, well-being and balance in our physical, emotional and mental bodies.  A modality is used to “in-put” energy into the body-mind system and can include sound, color and light, breath, movement, energetic contacts and processes specifically designed to create balance in our bodies, minds and emotions.

In the system of Resonance Repatterning practitioners know how important modalities are for our clients; it’s the moment they actively take ownership for creating their own wellbeing.  We’ve held a safe space, we’ve guided them, we’ve heard them, acknowledged their pain, their hopes their joys.  And now the ideal modality is identified and our client is empowered to create the positive movement, the shift, the healing that they came to us for.  They gave us their trust and we give them the space and then the power to heal.

Tamara De Ghellinck, a Brain Gym practitioner shared the following modality with me.  If you like this, post a new modality you’ve learned in the comments field below and let the exchange begin.

Integration Metaphor Modality

The object of this modality is to bring balance to the left and right hemispheres of the brain physically, emotionally and most important, mentally.

  • Ask your client to place one hand on either side of their head and pop out each hemisphere of their brain.  Ask them to make a little “pop” sound when they’re lifting out the hemispheres.
  • Ask your client to let their arms fall to their sides with their hands wide apart. Invite them to close their eyes and listen to their brain hemispheres.
  • Invite your client to sense what is going on…what are they feeling, how is the left hemisphere and how is the right hemisphere? Allow them to observe and acknowledge any feelings, sensations, thoughts, and colors.  Ask them to welcome any information and sensations free of judgment or resistance.
  • Ask your client if they’d like to say something to one or both of the hemisphere’s about any conflict their experiencing over the problem or goal.  Example: ”Right hemisphere I feel you’re tired, that’s ok, please allow more energy to flow so you and the left hemisphere can work together as a team to reach my goal of…”
  • Next invite your client to turn the palms of each hand towards one another and see if both hemispheres are attracted to each other. During this process the person can still acknowledge, welcome and ask for changes for one or both hemispheres.
  • When the hands come together ask them to finish with the palms together and fingers intertwined.
  • Encourage them to say anything else to their brain.  Have them say “thank you” to both hemispheres.
  • When the client is ready invite them to put both brain hemispheres back into place making a little “click” sound as the hemispheres return to their places.
  • Allow them time to breathe and integrate their whole and balanced brain.

Integrating what you know with what you know!

An Interview with Karen Kent, Resonance Repatterning Practitioner by Ardis Ozborn

I had the privilege recently of interviewing Karen Kent, the president of the RPA . We discussed  how she integrates what she has studied throughout her life with Resonance Repatterning. Karen has a rich background. She studied at the University of Kansas and received undergraduate degrees in psychology and fine arts. She went on to get her Masters degree in social work and started her career. Karen worked in a hospital with a specialty in geriatrics. She became frustrated with the limitations of working for a federal agency. They required extensive paperwork and did not encourage creativity. She was introduced to Resonance Repatterning and quickly realized the potential to help people in a deeper more creative way. After 25 years, she left the medical/hospital experience and opened a  private psychotherapy practice. With this freedom she was able to combine her new learning and alternative approaches with her solid psychological foundation to her clients. At the same time Karen was raising two children. In dealing with the challenges of raising her children she soon realized that her situation was not unique. There were many children and parents experiencing the same issues. She found the opportunity of the problem by creating a support system for parents and children who were struggling. I think you will find her ideas very interesting and perhaps will inspire you to integrate what you have learned in the past with Resonance Repatterning.

We are drawn to this work because we want to heal ourselves and others. Many students and practitioners, who have a rich and diverse background, are not sure  how to blend their knowledge into this structure. Resonance Repatterning  invites your expertise. It’s not either/or but how to include ALL that we know to enrich our practice.

Enjoy this recording.

Warmly,

Ardis Ozborn

The Resonance Repatterning® Books – An Interview With Chloe Wordsworth

Essential components of the  Resonance Repatterning system of healing and transformation are the books developed for each seminar.  Each of these largely sequential books is rich in information that practitioners draw on for a session.  The material has  been revised over the years with a few publication date milestones.   My first set of books was from 1997, then 2000 and my last set of books was from 2003.    The sessions always seem so miraculous to me –I ask myself “how can the books possibly need updating”?  However, in the last few years we’ve known that the founder of Resonance Repatterning has been hard at work updating the system with new information and repatternings.

Everyone is waiting with excitement to learn about the new changes.   The Repatterning Journal chair, Sally Herr, did an in-depth interview with Chloe on this topic in the November 2011 Edition.  Click here to read what was covered at that time.

Today, I interviewed Chloe Wordsworth by phone for an update on the book completion and the new pieces that have been added.   Significant changes have been made to the Orientation Section, Problems in Opportunites and Intention Section.  Additionally, the Modalities book has been renamed and will be available to the public.  Find out all of the details, including Chloe’s intention, for date of publication in this interview.

Our thanks go to Chloe Wordsworth for taking the time for this interview.

Looking Within – A New Era of Consciousness

Have you noticed all the ways we are being asked to look within? We are no longer able to point a finger and blame someone or something outside of ourselves. When we try, have you noticed that it backfires? For those of you who know what I mean and can relate, you are consciously entering into a “New Era of Consciousness” where ultimately there is freedom, wisdom and, most importantly, PEACE.

This process can be arduous or transformative. We can kick and scream with resistance or we can move into acceptance of  ‘what is.’ We get to say. I love one of the statements that Chloe Faith Wordsworth (developer of Resonance Repatterning®) has in her latest Intention for New Possibility section. It says: “I accept that whatever is not aligned with my intentions emerges for my own growth and transformation.” If we resonate with and really grasp the opportunity in this statement, our lives can be a platform for self-discovery, growth, and fine-tuning ourselves, so we and others can experience who we really are. Our Divine nature will be palatable as we let our light shine.

I know it is not always easy; however, the results are always worth the effort. So, how does one accomplish what I am referring to? When we are up against a challenging situation, the first step is to breathe, slowly and deeply in through your nose and out through your nose. This activates the parasympathetic nervous system for calm and relaxation. From this state of calm, we can respond rather than react, which always brings more of what we want. We can tell the person, “I need to take a ‘time-out.” I am having a reaction to what you just communicated, and I want figure out why so I can take responsibility for my reaction and respond from a loving place.” If communicated in this manner, the other person gladly agrees so they can do the same. The question you might ask yourself is, “What happened in the past that this resembles?” The unresolved event usually pops in and we come to an understanding, and this alone can transform the situation. Coming back together, you can both share what you discovered and love is restored.

When I look at the earlier experience from my reactions, it helps when I ask myself, “Did they really intentionally try to hurt me, or sabotage me?” The answer is usually, “No.” Putting myself in their shoes, I have more compassion and understanding, which brings me release from the past so I can be free and return to love and experience more peace. You may want to consider doing the same.

This takes practice so be gentle with yourself. When we can share our vulnerabilities and shortcomings it opens others to do the same, which leads to more intimacy (into me, you see), and ultimately more love. Welcome to the “New Era of Consciousness!”

Perspectives On Family Patterns Triggered by an Election

How do you feel about elections and voting?   For many it can be a gut wrenching time, filled with family feuds or arguments, or becomes a topic to be avoided in polite company.  Our family values and expectations at election time,  may cause a huge inner conflict at the voting poll that spirals our energy downward.  As a result, we may grow in disdain for these democratic events and rights.  Thinking about it from an energy perspective may help us to resolve our issues and vote with a coherent attitude that makes a difference to our energy system and ultimately to the country.

The nature of democracy and voting is that everyone is entitled to vote from their conscience with the respect of society for doing so.  Of course, we may find democracy works very well for us, when our whole family system votes the same way because we have a shared sense of values, vision for our country, and a shared perspective of how things are to work.  Our shared understanding may forge an unspoken rule for the consciousness of our group whether it is a family, a small community or other shared interest group–a rule that says “we” vote a particular way for a particular candidate.  If we are personally in agreement with how our group votes, our field of energy expands with civic pride for having voted, and we may even experience great joy and delight when our chosen candidate wins.

However, life is constantly in motion and everyone changes and grows including groups, political parties and their candidates.  It may be difficult to sustain our coherence when as individuals we come to a realization that the candidate endorsed by our group no longer meets our personal expectations or values.  We may feel uncomfortable making a different choice or voicing our opinions aloud.  It may be very difficult for us to exercise our freedom to vote from our conscience, feeling guilty for opposing the unspoken rule of our group for how to vote.  As a result, we  may no longer resonate with voting, freedom, democracy and either avoid voting altogether, or place for our vote with great reluctance or other diminished feelings.  The mere discussion of politics may break out in non-coherent arguments and physical rage if the rule broken with a contrary vote is very important to the group.  What we are feeling is the systemic guilt that is generated by opposing our groups rules.

In the set of repatterning’s from Magui Block’s  “Healing The Family System,” feeling guilty when we have done something wrong is normal and helps us to compensate for something wrong that we have done.  Neurotic guilt, according to Magui, is a sensation of anxiety that covers up an emotion, such as repressed anger.  It does not lead us toward growth or responsibility.  However, systemic guilt is the guilt we feel when our family has voted one way for generations, but own research and consideration leads us to vote in an opposite way.  When our vote is different from that of our group, we may feel that it separates us from the group, and maybe we are afraid we no longer belong.  We may perceive ourselves as ‘bad’ or unacceptable.  These are very powerful feelings.  The systemic guilt generated may be so strong that, in fact, we abandon our choice to vote in a different way and choose instead to vote in a way that supports the group or we don’t vote at all.  The energetic benefits to be reaped from exercising our right to vote is lost.

If you find yourself voting against the rules of your group, whether for an election or by breaking any other rule that defines them, you are testing the limits for growth of the group.  While we may feel systemic guilt in the short run, if our  choice is based on growth, we will transform by breaking the rules.  Chances are the group will grow as well, because our choices caused them to consider new information.  Our choice for growth will be good for us personally and, in the long run, for the group as well–even if we are in opposition.  The price we pay for growth and, for that matter, democracy is the hard choice of voting from our hearts, especially when our choices contradict popular opinion.

Of course, making a decision for ourselves that is contrary to our family or group  and doing so with confidence and clarity is much easier if we have the coherence to do so.  Resonance Repatterning practitioners using the Repatternings such as “Peace Repatterning” or “Systemic Loyalties Repatterning” from Healing the Family System can help anyone clear these issues and vote with energy that spirals upward.

The nature of democracy is growth and freedom.  Addressing any patterns that are triggered within us will contribute to a deep sense of civic pride and to a stronger community and country.

Some Thoughts About Repatterning Sessions Done As Distance Healing

By Meryl Chodosh-Weiss, L.C.S.W

Proxy sessions are distance healing sessions done solely by a practitioner on behalf of a client who has given permission for the session to occur.

When I first embraced Resonance Repatterning® as a student, I was working full-time as a psychotherapist for children who required counseling as part of their mandated individualized educational program in a public school.

Because I was spending so much time with so many people each work day, when I first began practicing I enjoyed doing proxy sessions the most.

Additionally, I had received a proxy session as my first session and experienced the positive and immediate impact of that session. Despite my not knowing when the session was to occur, I felt an immediate change in my energy and emotional state. I correctly surmised that the session had been completed.

I told myself that this process was for me!

I was so enthused about proxy sessions that at the very first, ever, Resonance Repatterning  Conference in 1996 I was on a panel to discuss this aspect of the work.

With the change in the Certification requirements that now permits proxy sessions to be a part of the mix,  one of the student practitioners in the NY Practitioners Skills Development Group last month asked me to give more information about doing proxy sessions.

There are several ways  to initiate a proxy session. Of utmost importance is getting permission from the person (or animal). Even when working with infants and animals, the parent or owner needs to ask  out loud if permission to engage in a session is granted. Pet owners and parents will usually be able to  see if permission is granted or not by the kind of response, or lack of response that is elicited.

Once  when I worked with a newborn in the presence of the mother, I saw the baby gave  definite indication that I was allowed to proceed with the session.

Proxy sessions are done without face-to-face, telephone or Skype interaction during the session. The practitioner may or may not have information about  the client’s presenting problem or  intentions. There my be no knowledge at all about why the session has been ordered or the practitioner may have this information.

If an animal or a non-verbal infant/child is the recipient, you may be given information from the parent or owner about the pet of child, but that information is not from the perspective of the child or animal. You may or may not, as determined by muscle checking for the client, use that information at all.

What is happening in a proxy session is based on the energetic reality of us all being one. With permission we are accessing the person or animal’s energy field and spiritually, their higher self, even though their physical presence is not involved.

There are no interferences,  and what you can access is the raw potency and strength of the client’s uncensored responses to their world. There is no person-to-person presence to filter anything.

This requires that the practitioner stays super centered and takes care of themselves so they can remain neutral and in complete service to their client.

The stance must be accepting , allowing and non-judgmental about anything that is derived from the books or from muscle-checked intuitive material. Nowhere is it more clear that you are the agent for the client and therefore you can not censor at all what comes out in the session.

What is in the experience of most student practitioners that is analogous is how the practitioner holds the space for the client during an Energy Constriction Release. In this process, the practitioner must sometime work on maintaining their own centeredness and their own lack of judgement. The practitioner must  postpone dealing with their own material which might be triggered by the client’s experience.

All of these considerations may be present when working in a proxy session.

Practitioner Interview: Isabel Hope Thomas by Nancy Martin

WELCOME TO ISABEL HOPE  HANAWALT THOMAS

Certified Resonance Repatterning Practitioner, Mesa, Arizona

Congratulations on completing all the requirements for certification in July 2011 and now managing the time for our interview questions!

Please tell us about yourself—what you do for a living and what is your background and education.

On April 12, 1952, I was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, the Saturday before Easter to two wonderful people who desperately wanted a child.  After 13 years of marriage they had all but given up when I was conceived.  I was named Isabel for a much-loved, childless aunt and Hope because I was a fulfillment of all their prayers and hope.  Even my last name, Hanawalt,  provided me with a rich heritage. I was very blessed and loved right from the beginning.  Two years later came another blessing when my brother was born and completed our family.  I spent 11 years growing up in that small town before we moved to Mesa, Arizona for the remainder of my childhood.

As far back as I can remember, all I ever wanted to be was a ‘Mom.’ I even majored in Home Economics so I could be the best mom ever!  I got married in 1972 and my dream came true.  I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for 16 years and live in five different states.  I worked outside the home only occasionally as a volunteer in parent organizations and scouting or doing small sales like Avon and Tupperware.

Then in 1989 my 12-year-old son became ill with what was thought to be leukemia, but the doctors could not confirm their diagnosis.  They wanted us to wait and see.  For us, doing nothing was not an option, and so began a journey into alternative medicine that ended in a healthy child and me becoming a Holistic Practitioner.

I love helping people who have been told there is no hope, so my practice is called Hope Enterprises.  I have scaled my practice back to one day a week to take care of my five grandchildren.  This year my youngest, Grandie, will go to school, so I plan to expand my practice once again.  I also look forward to being more involved in Resonance Repatterning with some of the additional time.

How did you learn about Resonance Repatterning?

Now that’s a bit of a story.

The main focus of my practice was Homeopathy and Nutrition.  I believe, like Dr. Edward Bach, that all disease comes from emotions, and I used flower remedies along with the emotional aspects of other Homeopathics to address my clients’ concerns. Even though I have certifications in many various methods of emotional clearing and kinesiology, most of my clients were more comfortable taking remedies.

In 1999, on three separate occasions, three different clients told me about a process using Holographics for healing.  Another asked me if there was a faster way to be pain free than using remedies.  One client even went so far as to research the details and bring me a registration form. I always listen when something comes to me three times.  So I registered for a class on Holographic Repatterning being taught by Chloe Wordsworth and discovered I had found my home.  This method brought everything I knew into one wonderful process.  I began using it right away!  I was successful and content being a student practitioner for a long time then I felt that nudge again three plus times–so I set out on the certification journey!  And here I am certified and still helping people with Resonance Repatterning some 13 years now.

What does Resonance Repatterning mean to you?

It is a life line.

For family, clients and friends: Resonance Repatterning is a wonderful healing tool.  This powerful process has allowed quantum changes in people so they can realize their full potential and live “pain free without remedies.”  This process gives the mother in me, who wants to help and give hope to everyone, a vehicle to do just that.

For me personally:  I had just lost my mother and I grieved hard and long for her.   Resonance Repatterning gave me a way to heal myself.  I now once again have a desire to live, and my zest for life is far greater than I ever thought possible.  I love new possibilities! And my intention is to always explore them!

What are some examples of sessions that stand out in your life?

How many wonderful adjectives can you apply to this amazing process that was conceived out of the love and generosity of one fabulous woman?  Every time I see or receive a session I am quite literally blown away by the power and, dare I say, majesty of Resonance Repatterning.  To pick just one to share about is a real challenge! Being up for that challenge I have an example of the power of a positive action.

I was privileged to receive a session from Chloe.  You see I have a hard time letting go.   As a child of parents who lived through the ‘Great Depression,’ I learned that everything was saved and had value.  Having a garage that was full and had overflowed into an off-site storage unit, I needed to see that those things would also have value for others now and I did not have to keep them for my future needs.  Adding to the problem was that a lot of the things had belonged to my parents, and there was a fair amount of guilt and grief in letting go of those things.

I was also on the doorstep of a new decade of my life and I wanted a clean slate. Often a session is not what you think. While I was interested in a fabulous new decade ahead, there were other priorities afoot! I don’t remember the exact repatterning. I do remember that I felt and was powerless and would not come into my power until (positive action) the garage was cleaned out! Oh no! And it had to be done in three months! So with all good intentions my husband and I set out to clean the garage, but the door broke in half (don’t go there!) and we couldn’t even get in it. More than a year passed before I entered my new decade and celebrated my 40th wedding anniversary. We finally got the garage a new door and—presto–the garage was clean!  By now I had all but given up on my power….when two days later I realized I had been going like “a house a fire” getting things accomplished. I had clarity and was focused and, yes, I felt very powerful!! It really happened–I came into my power!

My reason for choosing to share this is to let everyone know while it is important to complete a positive action in a timely manner, just completing it for me was the most important thing!  It still brought amazing results.  So don’t give up or give in–do that positive action, shift that energy and complete those quantum changes! You’ll be glad you did.

What would you like to see the RPA do for its newest members?

How about a mentoring program? I know this is a techno world but the personal contact in my opinion cannot be substituted. In some ways I feel as though we have lost our sense of community in the Resonance Repatterning world. I realize how much work went into the “in-person” annual conferences, but I would like to see them return even if they are every two or three years. Everyone likes belonging and being supported, and those for me would be a way of providing for all of us.

Do you have a motto?

To honor God in everything I do, live by the ‘Golden Rule’ and strive to be like the women of Proverbs 31.  (31:10-31).

What five words describe you?

A friend recently called me Kaleidoscope–I rather like that.  In Greek it means beautiful.  Like the kaleidoscope, I tend to be colorful, shapely and faceted!  I am also quite loquacious and friendly, creative and intelligent.  OK that’s more than five, but then in Resonance Repatterning we tend to use positive descriptive words a lot.

If there is something special about you that you’d like to share, needless to say, we’re eager to hear.

A couple of things:

One of my favorite things to do is make people smile.  I love to find the grumpiest person in the room and get a laugh or a smile; often I get a hug as well.  In college I worked as a waitress when a BIG tip was a $1.  Once after I made a senior gentleman smile, his wife gave me a $5 tip and said it was the most pleasant meal she’d ever had with him!

I have been given the gift of song. I use it in many ways, including 16 years with a group called Faithful Heart. As a group we have recorded a gospel CD.  It is my goal to make my own CD that can be shared not just for pleasure but also for healing, balancing and overall coherence.

I’m a trained Bible study leader. I love examining the scripture to find the original meaning in Hebrew and Greek.  I am always amazed at how much is lost in the translation. In many ways it is like Resonance Repatterning–finding what was lost in the “translation.”
