What is a Magical life? Magical lives are just that; magical, extraordinary, remarkable, exceptional, outstanding, incredible, phenomenal, unbelievable, amazing, astonishing, astounding, marvelous, fantastic, magnificent, wonderful, sensational, miraculous, fabulous, stupendous, out of this world, terrific, awesome, and wondrous.

How is this possible? It’s possible by being curious, open, honest, loving, and humble. For those who are here to be all you can be—to love and be loved in profound ways and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others—this process can be your ticket to these possibilities and more!

What are the three magical words? Most people think those three words are, I LOVE YOU. But really, they are I AM SORRY. By authentically expressing I AM SORRY to the people in your life and encouraging them to do the same, causes a global impact starting with YOU!

How do you start? Start by using the three magical words with the people in your life and encouraging them to do the same. This can have a global impact starting with YOU! Letting go of your past hurts and the harm you have caused others is the key. When your past is in the past where it belongs, you’ll have a clean slate in the present to create and live a magical life.

Does the Magical Healing Process really make a difference? Yes, and to live a magical life, there’s no hope in avoidance. Going into the unknown parts of yourself from your past may not be easy, however, it is necessary.

To really love, first learn to forgive.

Forgiveness accomplishes miracles. Using the three magical words, I AM SORRY, frees you from past hurts you’ve received and given. This can support you in emerging as your authentic self—to live a fully magical life!

Release what binds you to the past. When your past is unresolved, it not only impacts your life today, it also impacts your future. Your old thoughts and patterns will continue to show up in your life until you heal them. How can you create a magical life if your past is interfering?

Life is too short to keep struggling. This process is for the courageous among us. You will take an inner journey into some unhealed territory, but the rewards will be worth it—I promise. Some areas may take more courage, especially the ones where you take responsibility for the hurt you have caused other people. The key is to have compassion for yourself and others.

Get rid of what’s holding you back. The more you allow yourself to explore unhealed areas within yourself, the greater the outcome. As you complete each process, it’s important to take the time to notice the freedom you have created to live a magical life.

Stop feeling forsaken and disconnected. I encourage you to heal all the relationships in your life, beginning with those that are usually most impactful through those which, in many cases, have less significance. Although you can do this work in any order you choose, I recommend starting with your parents and continuing with your intimate partners, your children and siblings, your extended family, your friends, teachers, coaches, clergy, and your work associates. Be sure to go at your own pace.

Let go of bitterness and resentment. Balance is the key! As you are healing and making changes in your life, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and frustrated. Be gentle with yourself, love yourself, and pace yourself. Take your time. This isn’t a race. It’s a journey into your inner world, where the limitations that stop you from living a magical life are patiently waiting to be transformed.

As a newborn baby, you smell so good and feel so soft. You are kissable and huggable. You express yourself fully, holding nothing back. Even when you fill your diaper, others see it as an accomplishment.

Newborn babies are so miraculous. They are fresh, untouched, and unscathed by life, love, boys, girls, parents, school, other kids, or siblings. They are pure and precious. Each of us enters the world in this state.

So, what happened? When does this begin to change for us? What happened is life in its fullest measure with all its giving and taking, its longings, disappointments, pleasures, pains, hurt, trauma, abuse, and even death. Over time, we become hardened, dry, unexpressive, angry, bitter, and mean; sometimes we even get abusive. You may not know any other way to be; you may take things out on others around you, especially those you love the most, and the cycle continues. You may be asking, “Is this all there is? There has to be more to life than this.” I am here to tell you…there is!

Your Relationship with Your Parents

Loving and being loved fully starts by healing your relationship with your parents. It’s never too late, even if they are deceased or no longer in your life. Most of your current reality stems from unresolved past experiences while growing up with your parent(s) or primary caregiver(s).

As a young child, the world was all about you and you believed everything bad that happened was YOUR FAULT. For example: if your mother was crying, it was your fault; if your father was angry, it was your fault; if your parents divorced, it was your fault. As a result, you may have thought, “If I were more helpful, my mother wouldn’t be sad,” “If I were quieter, my father wouldn’t yell,” or “If I behaved better, they wouldn’t get divorced.”

As a teenager, you may have shifted the blame to your parents believing every bad thing that happened to you was THEIR FAULT. For example: if your boyfriend broke up with you, it was somehow your mother’s fault; if you didn’t make the team, it was somehow your father’s fault; if you failed your driver’s test, it was somehow your parents’ fault. As a result, you may have thought, “There’s something wrong with me,” “I’m unlovable,” or “I can’t count on anyone.”

As an adult, you may have come to understand that your parents did the best they could, and yet they were less than ideal parents. Like you, your parents were once children. They also experienced many unmet needs, disappointments, hurts, betrayals, and feelings that were never resolved. Like you, out of these unresolved experiences, they drew negative conclusions and developed beliefs about themselves, others, relationships, finances, and life in general, such as: “I’m unworthy and don’t deserve anything good,” “Men hurt me/Women smother me,” or “Life is unsafe and scary.”

It’s important to note that your parents behaved as if these conclusions, beliefs, and judgments were true—they could not be or act any other way— and neither can you.

However, if your inner child is still harboring feelings of hurt and betrayal, or any experiences of neglect, abandonment, or abuse, resolving them— putting them in the past where they belong—can free you to be the person you know you can be.

It’s important to identify and change your resonance with the earlier experiences, the unresolved feelings, and conclusions you came to about yourself, others, and life that are currently keeping you from attaining the extraordinary life you are here to live.

It is never too late to have a great relationship with your parents.

Your Relationship with Others

While you were growing up, in addition to your relationship with your parent(s), your relationships with other people also continue to have an impact on how you relate to others in your day-to-day life.

Consider, as a child, there were moments in your relationships with your playmates or siblings when you may have felt jealous, superior, protective, rejected, shamed, etc. Also, you may have felt forced to interact and be on your best behavior with other family members—grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. During your school years, how your teachers and coaches related to you may have had a significant effect on your beliefs about your own intelligence, capacity to learn, and ability to compete. All of these relationships continue to affect how you relate to yourself and others, your self-confidence, as well as your view of life today.

You Are Love

What is Love?

There are many types of love: love of self, love of your work, love of your parents who gave you life, love of your friends, love of your children, and love of your pets. Then there is romantic love, love of country, and love of God. Each has a different meaning and unique experience. Throughout history, many have attempted to define love. There are biological theories, cultural theories, and psychological theories about various types and styles of love. You name it and someone has written about it. I believe the word love can be used in the process of transforming many areas of your life.

The love I’m speaking about is a heart-centered love—the primal essence of love that permeates all life. It is moving from your head to your heart, surrendering your ego and moving into compassion, understanding, and a deep sense of caring. Asking yourself, “What would love do right now?” from this place, allows you to be more loving in all your interactions.

When two lovers are making love, looking into one another’s eyes and relishing the moment of bliss, they are sharing their experience together so completely that for them nothing else is happening in the entire world. They are engaging in the primal essence of love, shutting out the outer world— nothing intrudes. They are being present in the moment.

I hope you’ve had this experience. If not, maybe you’ve experienced the pure essence of love with a puppy or a newborn baby. This is unconditional love at its finest.

Now that you know the type of love I’m talking about, are you ready to experience it again, or for the very first time? It’s really a choice. However, if you have unhealed incidents from the past, it may not feel like you have a choice. This is where Resonance Repatterning® comes in. You Are Love

Sometimes we feel like love is missing and we look to others to provide it. Actually, look no further, you have everything you need—you are love.

What would life be like if you were to wake up and love governed all of your actions and decisions? What would you do, as love? You might start your day by looking in the mirror and saying, “I love you.” Perhaps you would meditate or journal in a sacred space. As love, you could jog, walk, or tend your garden in the morning sunlight. You might take some time to go to breakfast with friends or pick up chocolate-covered donuts on the way to work. When you bring the love you are—to all areas of your life throughout your day—love is what you will experience moment by moment.

Laughing and the color Red

“You need to laugh” she said, as I lay there barely able to breathe, bandages tightly wrapped around my chest.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. There’s no way,” I said weakly.
She continued checking what I needed. Then she looked at my other sisters sitting there and told them, “She needs the color red” …

In Resonance Repatterning©, we do some powerful modalities. Are they hard or complicated? Do you need special training to be able to do them? My sister and I had been taking Resonance Repatterning© classes. Had we learned enough to really help me through a tough time?

I’d just had major surgery – a mastectomy for breast cancer. The day after  surgery, I could not keep down even ice chips. I could barely stay awake. They said it’s because my body is having a reaction to the anesthesia.

…. My 2nd sister jumped up and started running around the room looking for something red. Then everyone was looking for red things. I began snickering. Suddenly, she grabbed a crayon from her daughter and told me to stick it in my nose. I burst out laughing. 

Well, there’s my laughing modality, I thought. I was feeling better… but I was not done yet.  My sister doing the muscle checking said to me, “You need an ECR”…

An ECR or Energy Constriction Release is pretty much just like it sounds – releasing energy that is constricted in the body. Identifying the feeling holding the energy stuck is the key.

…She muscle checked where the constricted energy was being held, and then, she held her hand near my armpit, by my breast. The exact spot where my lymph nodes had been removed. She looked at me and said, “Deby, it feels like a fan is blowing on my hand.”  After a couple minutes, she removed her hand. “It’s complete.”

I sat up in bed. The energy of everyone in the room was spiraling up. The urine from my catheter bag had been bright blue. Now, they noticed, it is bright green. Yellow and blue make green, right? The anesthesia had left my system! We were all ecstatic!

You might think my sister had years of experience giving sessions. The truth is my sister and I had been to only two basic classes. The fact is that we had not even been taught the ECR in class yet. She simply followed the directions. 

This is an example of how simple and yet powerful a session and the energizing options in Resonance Repatterning© can be.

Be the Change

Change is inevitable! It is the only thing constant in life. You can either resist it, or embrace it like an adventure. It is not always easy to do, but it is necessary if you want to live an extraordinary life. One way you can embrace the changes, which are occurring in your life, is by acknowledging your part in the change.

One Friday afternoon, a woman, who hated her job and wanted out, manifested the job of her dreams after a Resonance Repatterning® session. In the session, she admitted that she really wanted a more rewarding job, but was procrastinating. We identified the unconscious pattern that was holding her back and shifted her resonance to deserving a much better, higher-paying, creative position that showcased her unique gifts and talents.

Lo and behold, when she went to work the following Monday morning, she was summoned to her boss’s office and promptly fired. She called me very irate and blamed me for her getting fired. I encouraged her to look at how powerful she was and how fast the universe provided her with verification of her new resonance. I reminded her of how she had been procrastinating about finding a better job and could now embrace and be grateful for the opportunity to create the job of her dreams. . .and so she did!

While change is inevitable, it can also be emotional, especially when your partner moves on from what you thought was a committed relationship. Rather than engaging in finding fault and placing blame, simply be willing to accept what is so about the situation. Life is too short to resist change and perceive it as “it shouldn’t be this way.” The sooner you stop judging and assessing what was good from what was bad, and who was right from who was wrong, the quicker you will be empowered and experience inner peace. By embracing change and granting yourself the grace to let your partner go, you will have more energy to move forward with ease, grounded in the fact that from what you learned in this relationship, you will be able to attract an even better partner who wants to be with you.

The quote, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” profoundly transformed the relationship I had with my father. After having four children, my mother and father divorced. He remarried and started a new family. On the rare occasions that we talked, it seemed that he just reported how things were going with him and his new family. He would tell me all the things I wished I had done with him when I was young, but since we did not live together, my siblings and I did not get to do many of those memorable activities. I found myself becoming more and more envious.

I noticed that what was missing for me in his calls was acknowledgment for who I was in his life. So, I started acknowledging him for being a great father to his other three children and how fortunate they were to get to do all the things they were doing and to have him as a dad. After just two phone calls, he started asking about me and my life and acknowledging me for being a great daughter. He also acknowledged me for the difference I was making in the lives of my clients. These were things he had never told me before.

It’s true, by being the change you want to see in the world — providing the very thing you think is missing in your relationships — you too can experience what your heart desires, just as I did. In the very giving of it, my father gave back to me genuine love and acknowledgement. It was quite remarkable.

So, be the change, embrace the change, expect the change and you too can live an extraordinary life filled with everything you desire — a life where you can hardly wait to get up and one that is overflowing with love, joy, passion, and fulfillment.

A New Year – A New You

Reinventing ourselves comes from within. It does help to have a planetary shift similar the one we had on the winter solstice December 21, 2012 which coincided with the end of the Mayan calendar. 2018 was all about building and laying down a new foundation. The upcoming planetary shift in 2019 is all about making things tangible and material, so if you have a goal or dream, this will be the year to start making steps to transform your dream into reality.

What I found necessary was to reclaim the parts of myself that I had lost, given away, or given up on. I suggest you do the same. The Fusion Modality in the Resonance Repatterning® method retrieves this lost quality. It will free you to be more authentically who YOU are out in the world.

In a workshop called, Owning My Purpose, one of the exercises we did was to inquire about what we did, or how we survived our family dynamics growing up. One of the things I discovered that I did to survive, to be acceptable, and to get my needs met was to find out what the rules are and follow them. I then saw that even to this day, I find out what the rules are and live within the parameters of them, even if I do not agree with them, or even if have to settle. Growing up, I became the good girl, nice and pleasing. I found out what others needed and did whatever it took to make them happy–harmony at all cost!

The next exercise in this workshop was to distinguished what qualities we left behind to survive, like our uniqueness, our creativity, our curiosity, adventure, etc. I discovered that I left behind, my inner desires, my true authentic playful nature, my full self-expression, my dignity, and most importantly my values.

We then talked about what we are passionate about, like making a difference, nature, animals, helping adopted people find their biological parents, etc. I discovered I have many passions! The four I spoke about were my passion to free people from their past and move forward to fulfill their dream; to take risks, be adventurous and playful; to be in an environment where there are wide-open spaces; and to be free to be myself.

From there, in the quietness of my inner sanctuary I created and later declared and claimed my purpose. I stood up in front of the whole group — and on camera to boot — owned my purpose. My purpose is to inspire and empower others’ greatness to live extraordinary lives! What I realized is that I am already doing that. Energy surged throughout my whole being and a rush of emotion filled my eyes. It was total validation of what I have been all about for many years.

The group was then asked to pick a project to fulfill within six months that would allow us to tangibly experience our purpose and move us into unhesitating action. I could not imagine taking on yet another project. So, I chose one I had yet to complete: publishing my first book, What Would Love Do Right Now? A Guide to Living an Extraordinary Life. I created a structure to fulfill my goal with support from those who love and care about me. The paperback was published December 2017 by my own company which you can visit at www.ExtraordinaryOutcomesPublishing.com. The eBook came out in May of 2018 and got to #1 on Amazon the first day. It was exciting!

As you move forward reinventing yourself, be sure you are gentle with yourself and get the support you need from those who love and care about you. It will be easier than you think! If I can do it, YOU can do it too! Have fun!

Facing the fear of being visible

Earlier this year I was feeling quite frustrated that Resonance Repatterning  wasn’t more valued in the world, sad that so many people could benefit from it and that it was still largely unknown. I decided to stop complaining and instead, see what I could do to change the situation and as ever, this change began within.

I had received an email from the organisers of the Boom Festival in Portugal, which is only offered every two years. I’ve been wanting to go for over a decade and I almost procrastinated again, telling myself I wasn’t good enough yet. Instead, I applied to offer RR there, in the Being Fields, and was overjoyed to be enthusiastically welcomed and accepted.

I leapt at the chance to attend Liz Tobin’s brilliant Stepping into the Spotlight walking our talk event in January. Soon afterwards a friend recommended a free 30 day FB event called Ignite Video Challenge. We were encouraged to record short first take videos and be part of a supportive group, learning skills and giving each other feedback. Another friend had recommended a way to make my own website about a year earlier and once I gave it my full attention, I was able to create one I was delighted with within a couple of hours. It was as easy to use as she’d said. I followed through on my intention to begin offering world peace hologram events, which I’d been wanting to do for years and love, even though I’m far from perfect. I attended Carolyn Winter’s excellent techie tips training in April and I’ve created an online course as a result.

These are all tiny steps towards making Resonance Repatterning more visible and accessible to as many people as possible and it feels so good to have made a solid start. I could easily have continued hiding in fear and feeling helpless about how to share Resonance Repatterning more widely.

I’ve used Resonance Repatterning on myself throughout, shared sessions with peers and felt supported every step of the way. The original intention I came into resonance with was to be confidently making videos, sharing what I love, for the joy of it, unattached to outcomes and feeling free. I’m amazed how quickly this has become my experience. I’m freshly inspired by the power of Resonance Repatterning and deeply appreciative of the transformation it makes possible. A WINNING SESSION

Sometimes I forget the goodness I do as a Repatterning practitioner. Fear and “compare-despair” show up and I think I have to have more training, or better credentials, or the reassurance of scholarly articles about psychology, quantum physics or metaphysics.

Today I’d like to revisit the simple basics of what we all are privileged to do as students, practitioners and teachers of Resonance Repatterning.

This is a story about Nellie (not her real name) and just one session.

Nellie walked in my door bringing a powerhouse of energy and chatter. In our initial conversation I learned that she had read, studied and experienced many kinds of traditional and complementary therapies. In fact, she had just retired as a social worker running a rape crisis center.

I wondered if and how I could be of help to this experienced therapist.

Nellie had been feeling increasingly depressed.

As we went into her earlier experiences, seeking the core “seed moment” limiting belief and emotional memory imprint, I learned that she was an incest survivor. Plus there were many kinds of addictions and abuse going back for several generations in her family. She knew all their stories.

What she didn’t know was how she had compensated for this as a child – by becoming a people pleaser in an effort to ward off the abuse. She learned to laugh it away, escaping the pain of disapproval when she didn’t go along with the family’s dysfunctional norms.

Her excessive laughter was part of the mask that hid the pain of being abused and devalued. She had spent a lifetime rescuing others who had the same kinds of pain, without every fully healing her own.

What her heart really longed for, we discovered, was a gentle loving father. She was drawn to a nearby Quaker church but didn’t go because she feared her husband wouldn’t approve. Of course, it was her old limiting belief kicking in; only in her imagination did he disapprove.

In the session, we shifted her resonance from the chaos of abuse and addiction, to resonance with the gentle loving spirit she sought. By the time her session was complete, a more truthful and calmer persona had emerged.

She wrote a week later that she had reconnected with the Quaker church, was meditating regularly and awaking each day, no longer depressed, but with a sense of excitement.

This social worker couldn’t believe that so much change had come about as the result of just one session.

And I thought: all I really did was give her permission to be her own true self.

Maybe that’s all we’re meant to do. Help people escape from the painful errors of their limiting beliefs and step into the higher truth of who they really are.

That, and tell these stories of hope to others.
