Stress – a fact of life
Most of our problems, if not all of them, relate to stress.
Research has shown that when we are free of stress, our immune system is strong and well-functioning, and that in stressful circumstances our immune system becomes depleted and loses it optimal functioning.
But research has also proved that when we handle stress in a successful way, our immune system is boosted, even higher than if we had no stress at all.
The challenge of this past year of stress and its opportunity
This year, on a national level, if not globally, millions of people in the US have been seriously stressed out.
Even if you have no political interest, you probably have clients who are angry, afraid…
Discover the potential within yourself to spiral up into greater coherence at a physical, mental, emotional and spirit level. What holds us back from attaining what we truly want in our life? Is it that we are so preoccupied with being a Victim, and that life has been so unfair, as a result we have not fulfilled our dreams of doing something worthwhile, no matter how personal that may be? Not how the world sees us but how we see the world.
Victims very often become Persecutors or Enablers (Rescuers). The Karpman Triangle was conceived by the psychologist Stephen Karpman, M.D. He utilized the triangle to show how easily we become enmeshed.
In nearly every situation when we become a Victim, we react by becoming either a Persecutor, or equally debilitating, an Enabler.
You might not know that the powerful energy of Solstice can help bring your dream alive.
But you have to know its secret.
I’ve been testing this method for the past year or so, and find it brings a welcome feeling of relief after chaos and uncertainty.
It has to do with simplicity, and with wrapping the end and the beginning into one just right spark of Light.
SOLSTICE HOW TO
1. Take a moment and step into a space of stillness, ideally on December 21 when the earth pauses before changing the direction of its tilt.
2. Imagine a circle of light surrounding you. Bring all the parts of your dream into the circle with you.
3. Now, (this is the secret) imagine condensing all the parts of your dream into one unified spark of energy.
For example, let’s say you hope to expand your business. The truth is that your ideal customer has a need that only you can fill. That means there is a matching energy, a unity of light that already exists, between your client and your service.
It will serve you to see the client, your service, the need you fill and the reward you receive as one and the same, as being all the same vibrating frequency level, as one simplified harmonic note.
This is the point when there is no difference between the giver and the receiver, or the lover and the beloved, or the healer and the healee: simply a unity of intention.
4. This one compressed energy is the seed of Light you align with at the moment of Solstice. That is the seed of Light, of your dream fulfilled, which is best to sow at the moment of Solstice stillness.
5. Let the condensed seed of Light find a home in the silence of your heart, where your dream will come alive throughout the New Year in a way that is not too big, not too small, but just right for you!
May peace, power and prosperity be yours this holiday season!
Sometimes I forget the goodness I do as a Repatterning practitioner. Fear and “compare-despair” show up and I think I have to have more training, or better credentials, or the reassurance of scholarly articles about psychology, quantum physics or metaphysics.
Today I’d like to revisit the simple basics of what we all are privileged to do as students, practitioners and teachers of Resonance Repatterning.
This is a story about Nellie (not her real name) and just one session.
Nellie walked in my door bringing a powerhouse of energy and chatter. In our initial conversation I learned that she had read, studied and experienced many kinds of traditional and complementary therapies. In fact, she had just retired as a social worker running a rape crisis center.
I wondered if and how I could be of help to this experienced therapist.
Nellie had been feeling increasingly depressed.
As we went into her earlier experiences, seeking the core “seed moment” limiting belief and emotional memory imprint, I learned that she was an incest survivor. Plus there were many kinds of addictions and abuse going back for several generations in her family. She knew all their stories.
What she didn’t know was how she had compensated for this as a child – by becoming a people pleaser in an effort to ward off the abuse. She learned to laugh it away, escaping the pain of disapproval when she didn’t go along with the family’s dysfunctional norms.
Her excessive laughter was part of the mask that hid the pain of being abused and devalued. She had spent a lifetime rescuing others who had the same kinds of pain, without every fully healing her own.
What her heart really longed for, we discovered, was a gentle loving father. She was drawn to a nearby Quaker church but didn’t go because she feared her husband wouldn’t approve. Of course, it was her old limiting belief kicking in; only in her imagination did he disapprove.
In the session, we shifted her resonance from the chaos of abuse and addiction, to resonance with the gentle loving spirit she sought. By the time her session was complete, a more truthful and calmer persona had emerged.
She wrote a week later that she had reconnected with the Quaker church, was meditating regularly and awaking each day, no longer depressed, but with a sense of excitement.
This social worker couldn’t believe that so much change had come about as the result of just one session.
And I thought: all I really did was give her permission to be her own true self.
Maybe that’s all we’re meant to do. Help people escape from the painful errors of their limiting beliefs and step into the higher truth of who they really are.
That, and tell these stories of hope to others.
Do you have a winning session story? Write it up—If you’d like, I’d be happy to help you get it posted.
In this article, I will list 5 common limiting messages that limit our and our children’s ability to learn and excel. I will then describe a way to free ourselves and our children in order to manifest a happier, more successful life.
Every family has beliefs and rules stored in the family consciousness handed down from generation to generation. We learn these rules very early in life. Even though we may not be consciously aware of these beliefs, we still follow them. Some are beneficial, some are not. Examples of beliefs handed down in my family include: “My children are very beautiful.”—pretty nice. Not so nice– “If I do not serve my husband all the time and make him happy, he will leave me.”
When we honor these rules, even if we are not consciously aware of them, we feel loyal and at peace—no matter what the rule is. When the beliefs limit us, our level of success and enjoyment of life get squelched. We find that we never achieve what we want—because we cannot release ourselves from being loyal to those rules. Here are common 5 limiting beliefs:
Limiting Belief # 1: You are a bad girl or (bad boy).
When a parent or caregiver perceives that a child has done something wrong, they sometimes say “Bad girl.” Or “Bad Boy.” When you think you are bad, you think you are all together bad. People tell a child they are bad in hopes the child will act better. This is not a good way to teach a child to behave. The child, assuming that they are a bad human being, will begin to act that way. The truth is that even when you think you behave badly, you are still a good human being.
Limiting Belief #2: There must be a husband and a wife in the family to raise a healthy child.
We have been taught that children are happier when they have a father and a mother. The truth is that a child can be happy with one parent, with two fathers or two mothers—whether a boy or a girl. All that matters is that we have good parents and a good environment where we feel safe, secure, and where we feel loved.
Limiting Belief # 3: A mother has to stay at home to care for the child.
Some people say that when a mother works and leaves a child with another person, the child will have more problems and feel abandoned by their mother. The truth is whether at home or not, a good parent gives their child a feeling of being beautiful, loved, and valued. What matters is that the child feels beautiful, loved, cared for and nurtured. Whether the parents are at home or not does not matter. That said, it is important that the care giver has the same attitude of valuing the child—not just a babysitter who watches TV.
Limiting Belief #4: Children have to be punished to learn right from wrong.
Spare the rod—spoil the child, the saying goes. Children are sometimes hit, spanked, humiliated or yelled at when they are seen as behaving badly. Punishment does not help children learn. Rather it teaches them to behave badly, to be bullies, tyrants, and to behave in violent, abusive ways. There are only a few instances when force needs to be used—such as when the child is in danger. For those times that force was used upon you, acknowledge that you were an innocent child. Free yourself of that burden of guilt, and without judgment, leave the responsibility to whom it belongs.
Limiting Belief # 5: You have to be a good parent all the time, otherwise you will have bad children.
No one behaves perfectly all the time. When you behave badly to your child, your spouse, or anyone else, say, “I am sorry. I behaved badly.” It can be a huge relief for children to hear, “See—Mommies and Daddies make mistakes.”
Here is a visualization that can help to free ourselves of these detrimental beliefs and patterns: Visualize the family members/care givers from whom you took these beliefs. Say to the them, “I took these beliefs from you but I don’t want them anymore. Please see me with love as I give them back to you.” Visualize these feelings gently returning from you to your elders and your elders lovingly receiving them. Know that your elders are happy to receive them. They know that these false beliefs are not good for you and that once you let go of these beliefs, they can be passed on to wherever they belong.

Healers, creative types, solo-preneurs, and many women shy away from attention and being seen.
You, too? If you’re afraid of getting attention, being “too big” or “too visible,” this will hold you back from success in business, attracting a mate, and even in being seen and heard in your family and working life.
A few years ago I did the Nun Karma Repatterning on myself and the pattern of “invisibility” came up. Suddenly I saw how I was operating under the radar and mostly invisibly. I was working at home on the phone, doing much of my marketing online. I didn’t stand up in front of people often and I never “tooted my own horn.” I rarely spoke to people about my work. It wasn’t helping my business grow and I was too isolated. The pattern of “invisibility” was my hologram, and it was everywhere in my life.
That took me through a two-year clearing journey, including becoming a teacher of the Art of Feminine Presence. What I’ve been learning is that what draws people to work with you goes beyond having a great website or elevator speech–it’s your presence.
As women, we have a built-in advantage in this area–if we are comfortable with being and expressing our Feminine Presence. It can be part of our power–but this is power defined in a whole new way. It’s not about being like a man . . . isn’t that a relief?
A naturally confident woman is noticed when she enters a room. With her Feminine Presence “turned on,” she is magnetic, grounded, easily heard and gets our attention–without being flashy, loud or aggressive. Both men and women are drawn to be around her—it just feels good!
This presence, this confidence communicates to others “I am open and receptive to your attention–and I welcome it. I feel safe to be heard–and to take up space. I can express my feelings, thoughts and point of view without shrinking and I have something important to say.” This attitude, this stance, shows up in what we say, how we move, what we do in our business, and how we relate to people. It even comes through our written words, our voice on the phone and in audios, and on videotape.
These days it’s a lot harder to stand out in the crowd–there are many more people offering energy healing, coaching and holistic services. Having a powerful method is great, but we must go much further than that to really get attention. Developing your presence, having the courage and confidence to be seen and heard is more important than ever.
It’s what I teach in Art of Feminine Presence classes, and it’s also the focus of my session at the Repatterning World Summit. My topic is “Confident, Clear and Courageous: step into your value and stand in the value of your work.”
Are you curious about what I mean by confidence? I see it as a two-sided coin, two different “faces” which are inseparably linked to the other:
INNER CONFIDENCE is expressed from the inside out, based on how you feel about yourself, your inner self-image, and your self-talk.
OUTER CONFIDENCE is the kind that shows in your body language and your voice. It shows in how you walk and move, and in the ways you express yourself—clearly, warmly and self-assured, without hiding or apologizing. A cool tip: You can use OUTER confidence to grow INNER confidence. Ask any performer or public speaker!
Why will having more confidence be such a great benefit to you?
With more confidence, you feel better about yourself, value your work more, express yourself more clearly and with more impact, and bring in more clients.
Confidence supports you to:
■ Know–and be able to say–what is special and unique about you;
■ Be clear about the results your clients have and that your work makes a difference in people’s lives;
■ Create services, programs and content that shine with quality and value;
■ Let go of having to be perfect and putting off your success;
■ Feel more at ease sharing your expertise as you relax into being yourself;
■ Have more ‘presence’ and enjoy more attention–people remember you;
■ Gain more of that “know-like-trust” factor that builds an audience and draws clients;
■ Enjoy marketing as a conversation and opportunity to connect with others.
GREAT STUFF, isn’t it? You might actually start enjoying marketing as it becomes more of a conversation than a sales pitch. What about having more joy, ease and heart connection with prospects, and having more FUN while attracting great new clients?
Hey…how would it be to enjoy being yourself more, in every part of your day? Now that sounds truly awesome!

Until a few short years ago, for anyone who aspired to write a book, the dream involved finding a publisher who would take it on–getting a book deal and finding your work on the shelves of books stores everywhere, promoted by the publisher.
After all, if you are over the age of 10 years in our life time, we have only known publishing to be proprietary to publishing companies, distributions channels or the mass media. The ordinary person could only buy their way into that world to be seen.
In the old paradigm, pre-2008 or so depending on your industry, to market or promote your business, as one of my favorite marketing authors–David Meerman Scott–points out, traditional marketers used strategies, such as annoying, interrupting , blasting emails, paper mailers and print advertising etc. to get your attention or that of an audience. Fortunately, its not working any more.
To put this change into perspective, David Meerman Scott asks his audiences, as I will now ask you to consider, these 3 questions:
1. When was the last time you bought something from a flyer, or a marketing robot call or similar venue?
2. When was the last time you Googled something you were going to buy, even if it was only $10.00?
3. When was the last time you bought something because a friend recommended it?
Chances are you Googled the item and definitely bought it on the recommendation of a friend.
It is now 2013 and we are squarely in the digital age. This age comes with changes as far reaching to society as the Renaissance and inventions like the printing press. There is one huge difference in these 2 revolutions–less than 1000 people took the new information, inventions and tools of the Renaissance and created the institutions we have today, such as newspapers and publishers.
In the digital age and because of the internet, we all equally have the potential to get online, use the tools and create something that ultimately defines the future of humanity . . . if, of course, we resonate with having that digital footprint, the visibility that publishing anything will bring to us.
Today we are all publishers. All of us. When we send an email, set up a social media profile, post to a Facebook feed, leave comments, write blog posts . . ., we no longer need to write a book to be seen. We do need to publish and we are all publishers. The question is do we resonate with that so that we can be favorably seen and followed?
IF you come from the old system, as most of us do, where someone controlled the information, the new system of being your own publisher for many will be unfamiliar and, depending largely on your patterns, uncomfortable.
After all it’s one thing to say, “Oh goodie! I can get a free YouTube account, Facebook, blog etc.” and yet quite another to put great content there that attracts an audience by educating and informing it rather than interrupting and selling to it. AND you probably–all of you–have great content or the potential for it, but your own personal patterns for being seen will come in the way of you and the free tools–and your audience. In fact, you may be suffering from your resonance with the OLD ‘Rules of Marketing, PR and Publishing,’ stuck in the old ways of getting your message or material out there because that is the only model we have known.
Unlike the controlled messages of the old publishing paradigm, the digital age is bringing one more very powerful aspect into being–your resonance. The frequencies you broadcast are discerned online no matter what you write. Don’t try to lie. You will be found.
Think about the last USA election, and no matter who the candidate, for me, what was plainly clear is that candidates may say whatever they like, and audiences everywhere, at every income and education level, are picking up the true vibration and chatting about it. The greater the gap between perceived vibration and spoken message is often captured with a cell phone, iphone camera or comments on the candidate’s eye movements and what they mean. Everyone is tuning into the frequency as much as material evidence.
There is one more piece I would like to add to your awareness, if you haven’t already noticed. It has to do with consciousness and your evolution as a spiritual being. The digital age compels us–to be in the ever-present moment. No one will wait for a contrived considered response; the public, your public, is constantly Googling what is relevant now. Marketers know that if they don’t respond in the moment to a news item or customer query, they have lost it. So as publishers we have to resonate with the most coherent aspects of responding in the moment as ourselves. Isn’t that the quest of spiritual evolution to become who we truly are, to live our truth, and live from a place of wholeness?
What stops us from publishing effectively in the moment is our patterns–protecting our ego, self-image, the non-coherent patterns that we have yet to heal and that we have only ever known in the old paradigm of publishing.
For myself, I remember my first experience of publishing my website. I was so embarrassed to be seen–let alone offer an alternative healing system–I could barely look at my site. That was many cleared patterns ago, many of which had to do with self-image, fear of rejection and confidence. Today I publish fearlessly–grammar mistakes and all (I hear alot about that)–but I am comfortable being who I am, conveying the messages needed to be of service and support to others, and no longer cringe with the old pattern of embarrassment. Hopefully, when people looking for answers to their problems find me, they are supported by the experience and transformed.
If you are considering an online presence, or wish to publish a book etc., I encourage you to examine the patterns underlying your blocks and apparent obstacles. Your spiritual being will evolve, you will feel more inner freedom and be in a place to share your gifts and talents with the world. Clear your patterns and your creativity; inspiration and ideas will shine through into physical form. You will have the energy to take the actions needed to complete your goal. Most importantly, the outcome will sing with a vibration that the world will hear favorably. You will ultimately be– followed!
with love and light

Do you find it difficult to establish flow, experience joy and creativity in your life and relationships?
When we find ourselves disconnected from the essence of our Divine nature, our hearts become closed and we are unable to experience bliss in every moment of our lives.
Most importantly, when we feel separated from our innate Divine connection, we often experience life as dry, isolated, lonely, meaningless and frustrating.
We focus on our breathing, our mantra, whatever we can to silence the continual stream of distracting thoughts and negative feelings that keep us from experiencing peaceful meditations and harmony in our lives.
What if the basis of enlightenment, accessing all the riches of the universe, peace, harmony and flow stems not from our minds and somewhere outside of us, but somewhere else?
Buddha said “The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart”.
Recent research by the The Institute of HeartMath (IHM) Research Center and technological advances in how the human mind-body system is able to be studied reveals that the heart emits the strongest electromagnetic field in our body. This electromagnetic field is five thousand times stronger than the brain’s electromagnetic field; it envelops the entire body and extends out in all directions up to several feet outside of the body. Research shows that as we consciously focus on feeling a positive emotion it has a beneficial effect not only on our own health and well-being, but it also can have a positive effect on those around us.
Our hearts are the very first organ we develop in the womb. When we call our attention to the “heart of the matter” we are focusing on the essence, in fact, our essence.
The “shift of the ages,” the shift in consciousness that we are now experiencing, is a movement from duality into oneness. It invites us to live from the oneness, connectedness of all creation in our hearts.
There is a personal power in us that is only available when we move from the duality of our brains (the two hemispheres) into the unity of our hearts, our cores.
The scheduled repatterning during the World Repatterning Summit will shine light on whatever we are ready to clear from our mind-body systems so that we can move into living from our hearts and connecting there with the Divine within us all.

Reinventing ourselves comes from within. It does helps to have a planetary shift like the one we had on the winter solstice December 21, 2012. I now feel stronger than ever, I have taken more action in the last month than probably the previous three months. I am ‘on fire!’ Watch out world, here I come!
What I found necessary was to reclaim the parts of myself that I had lost, given away or given up on. I suggest you do the same. It will free you to be more authentically who YOU are out in the world. In the Resonance Repatterning® Method, this process is done by doing the ‘Fusion Modality’ where one retrieves a lost quality. If this speaks to you, many certified practitioners can assist you. Go to http://www.repatterning.org. You will find a list of practitioners there. Find someone you resonate with to help you.
I recently did a play shop called “Owning My Purpose” through a new company called Raised Vibration, http://www.raisedvibration.com. One of the exercises we did was to inquire about what we did, or how we survived our family dynamics growing up. One of the things I discovered that I did to survive, was to find out what the rules are, in order to be acceptable and to get my needs met, and follow them. I then saw that even to this day, I find out what the rules are and live within the parameters of them, even if I do not agree with them, or have to settle. Growing up, I became the ‘good girl,’ nice and pleasing. I found out what others needed and did whatever it took to make them happy–harmony at all cost!
Robert Fulghum coined the phrase in his book, “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.” Maybe it should state, “Everything I learned about how to deal with life is formulated by the time I get to kindergarten.”
In the play shop, we then distinguished what qualities we left behind to survive, like our uniqueness, our creativity, our curiosity, adventure, etc. I discovered that I left behind, my inner desires, my true authentic playful nature, my full self-expression, my dignity and most importantly my values.
We then talked about what we are passionate about, like making a difference, nature, animals, helping adopted people find their biological parents, etc. I have many passions! The four I spoke about were my passion to free people from their past and move forward to fulfill their dream; to take risks, be adventurous and playful; to be in an environment where there are wide-open spaces; and to be free to be myself.
From there, in the quietness of our inner sanctuary we created and later declared and claimed our purpose. We stood up in front of the whole group–and on camera to boot–owning our purpose. My purpose is to inspire and empower others’ greatness to live extraordinary lives! What I realized is that I am already doing that. Energy surged throughout my whole being and a rush of emotion filled my eyes. It was total validation of what I have been all about for many years.
We were then asked to pick a project to fulfill within six months that would allow us to tangibly experience our purpose and move us into unhesitating action. I could not imagine taking on yet another project, so I chose one I have wanted to complete: publishing my first book, “What Would Love Do Right Now?” It got very daunting last year, so I gave myself a sabbatical from the book. Now I am ready. I have a structure in place to fulfill my goal with support from those who love and care about me. My commitment is to have it on the shelf by August 24, 2013.
As you are moving forward reinventing yourself, be sure you are gentle with yourself and get the support you need from those who love and care about you. It will be easier than you think! If I can do it, YOU can do it too! Have fun!
